On dishes using chicken thigh, I find cook times tend to be longer to get the meat up to a safe temperature. (80c).
Am I doing something wrong?
By the way, love the Thari Warla chicken. Scrumptious

If it’s thigh on the bone then yes it will take longer to cook about 30-40 mins should be fine. You can leave it for longer if you want to cook low and slow. For chicken 74c is safe. Hope that helps. Hari
