So given a nudge by Gordon and all you lammykin lovers out there I decided to make a lamb curry for Mr Bun and TT a few weeks ago. Lamb here as I have previously posted has a lot of bone and little meat, plus it isn’t as readily available as you might expect. Had a lightbulb moment, they don’t happen often and hot footed it to the nearest town to see what the moroccan butcher had and after a discussion he went out the back and bought out a ruddy great leg of lamb!! I persuaded him to cut off a kilo and saw it in pieces for me and duly made lamb in a fennel and coconut sauce from Tamil Nadu . Chucked in a couple of chicken thighs for me whilst I was at it. Boys were very happy and said it was delish. Basmati rice and a sag bhajee , done and done.
