I attempted to make a punjabi yakhni pulao today - with Mutton. Not sure how I feel about it though …….it’s a Pilau made from meat bone stock (boiling the meat with whole spices and then adding rice to the stock) . . . I just think it lacked flavour. Clearly it is very popular, so I am thinking I probably didn’t add enough spices when cooking. Either that…….or I’m getting old and my taste buds are shot! 🤣
