Invited Mr Buns Sis for lunch today. I was inspired by a photo that my friend posted of his starter at his local BIR in Malta. He described it as a sort of potato falafel, I recognised it as an aloo tikka and here is the result. Aloo and pea tikka with a pea puree, yoghurt and a tamarind drizzle on the popadum. Curly Popadum credit to Mr Bun. Followed by murgh sag wala, paneer korai , mushroom rice and a raita. I made the korai without peppers as they aren’t in season and cost a bomb ! Almost €5 a kilo 😱
