I had my second cataract surgery on Tuesday and this is the first time I've cooked since. A birthday feast for my son. Roast lamb, seasoned with saffron, rose petals, garlic and Ras al Hanout, peppers and courgettes roasted with cumin, roast potatoes with saffron and kashmiri chilli, bulgar cooked with cinnamon and cumin, decorated with nuts and pomegranate seeds, coriander and mint chutney, feta with sun dried tomatoes and chilli and a second one with coriander and cumin.
