Good evening all! Chapli kebabs from Hari. Didn't have the pomegranate powder, so substituted amchoor (dried mango) but could use some chaat spice as well? Really easy to make and the onion/tomato keeps it nice and juicy so they're not dry. I've served it homemade flatbreads, like a pitta, with some raita. Of course, there's a wine...! It's paired with a wine called Le Durif from the Gaillac region of France. This is also known as a petite Syrah (or Shiraz). It's less bold and in-your-face but still has hints of spice and is very fruity. I think it's a great match and shows how modern red wines can go with spicy food. Just ease off the oak and tannins.. πŸ˜‰
