I wasn't entirely sure about how to incorporate the lamb so I marinated it overnight in garam masala and soy sauce.
I added the lamb to the tomato mixture and stir fried for around 3 minutes then added the dhal.
depending on required consistency simmer for around 10 minutes with lid on / off or until lamb very slightly pink in middle.
leave on hob for half an hour
