just made my first batch of @Hari Ghotra 's garam masala. WOW. what a difference in aroma to shop bought!

I regularly make the Garam Masala from the slow cooker book that's the Punjab one I think. Making that fresh and grinding whole spices each time I cook has really taken my curry making to the next level!!

isn't it just! no roasting etc, takes no longer than 5mins. tastes good too. had some in my dhal at lunchtime.

I'm just about to make some too, Sue! I've run out of the one I made a while ago, which was very good, but I've lost the recipe (and I expect Hari's is better anyway) 💕
