I searched for cannellini beans on the internet and found that cannellini beans are from Italy, creamy white in colour. When cooked, they have a fluffy texture and a slightly nutty, mild flavour. I will try to get them.
I used medium sized white beans from Turkey.

Hallo @traceyross, I had a look at the recipe. Indeed I already made a quite similar dish: with white beans! And some sprigs of thyme. The whole family loves it, and it goes well with roasted lamb (if you are not vegetarian, of course).
