Fried bread @stripybag, a typical Mauritian snack. Beat an egg, add flour, salt, Chili and coriandre leaves if you like. Add some water. The mixture should drop slowly from the spoon. Cut slices of bread (stale bread goes well!!), cut nicely sized pieces, soak the bread in the mixture and fry in the pan with sufficient oil till golden brown. Deep frying goes well, if you want. Lovely nibles for aperitif!!

Hello @stripybag absolutely! It‘s so quickly done, it is fresh, not cooked. Refreshing. Change the quantities just as you like it. It goes well with „Fried bread“ and with chicken, BBQ.
