Hi I have another question, I am going to make Coconut Curry Chicken from the Indian Slow Cooker book. The recipe uses raw chicken, cooks for 4 hours, I have cooked chicken, how long should I cook the meal?
Thank you in anticipation

Hi @Jo Dunn, I’m not cooking the chicken until Wednesday, I’ll send some pictures of the finished article🍽🌶
Any pics of the finished article? @stripybag ?💕
Should have written @Jo Dunn
Thanks @Hari Ghotra and &Jo Dunn, good tips are always useful.🍴👍🌶
Thanks @Jo Dunn - hope it’s tasty @stripybag - You could cook it for longer and shred it in the sauce too. The recipe does rely on some moisture coming from the meat but if it’s cooked you won’t get that. So maybe keep and eye on it and add a cup of water if needed.
Sounds like a good deal @stripybag. It won't take on the flavours as much as raw meat, but should still be lovely. Show us a pic when you're done, please! 💕
Thanks @Jo Dunn, I’ll do that. The cooked chicken is a bargain in Iceland, ideal for a curry, I think. 🍴😎
I'd cook as per the recipe minus the raw chicken on LOW for 2.5 hours, then add (room temperature) cooked thigh meat three quarters of an hour, or cooked breast half an hour, making sure meat is piping hot before serving. 💕
