Thought some may find this article and the comments amusing! Not turning my back on Hari and her recipes but it’s the comments underneath the article debating and professing to be experts on Indian food which had me in stitches today.. 😂

Thanks for sharing this @victoria.darragh honestly - what is authentic these days? If it tastes good and it’s fresh then it’s great!

I think when you have a takeaway, you know what you’re getting, you cannot expect authentic regional food.

Silly question @Jo Dunn do you live in Merstham? I am sure I saw someone in this group a few weeks ago commenting under a post and referenced Merstham.

Oh that they are @Mark Harvey 😉it’s kind of like most Brits being armchair moaners and politicians now. Thanks to social media and the internet we can all ‘claim to being an expert’ 😂😂

I know and hear you @Arthur vdH - and they were quite biting for the author of the book. This comment and the response cracked me up..

The comments makes one wonder how the term ‘wisdom of the crowd’ ever came to be… But it’s interesting to see that the average level of comments is about the same as that of online comments at Dutch newspapers.
